A redirect sends a visitor from an old address to a new destination. A permanent move normally uses a 301 redirect.

How to use it

1. Open Redirections at /cc_admin/redirections.
2. Choose Add new redirection.
3. Enter the old source address and the correct destination using the format shown on the screen.
4. Save the redirect.
5. Open the old address while signed out and confirm it reaches the intended page.
6. For bulk changes, download the sample CSV and follow the import screen’s format.

Before you finish

Avoid redirect loops and unnecessary chains. Update your own menu and content links as well. Keep a copy of a bulk CSV before importing it.
