Buttons and linked content | CoreCMS guides
Use a button for a clear action such as contacting your team or opening a document. Current button controls can include page selection, media selection and background settings.
How to use it
- Add or select a button component.
- Write a short label that explains the action.
- Choose an internal page, a media file or an external URL using the available picker.
- Review alignment, padding and background options.
- Check text contrast, keyboard focus and the size of the clickable area.
- Save and test the destination.
Before you finish
Avoid labels such as “Click here” when a more useful action is available. If a link downloads a document, make the file type clear.
