Each plug-in / module might have some additional general parameters which could control the way how a script is running and / or process the information in order to be displayed to the end user.

Some examples are:

• Set the number of boxes into a grid view for the news page
• Set the maximum number of elements per page when displaying the search results
• Set who is getting notified for a referral form etc.
