Adding a CMS user | CoreCMS guides
Create an individual account for each person who needs to maintain the website. You must have permission to manage accounts.
How to use it
- Open CMS Accounts and choose Add User.
- Enter the person’s first name, surname and email address.
- Choose the appropriate account level and any available plugin permissions.
- Select Create User and confirm that the account appears in the list.
- Ask the user to follow the account email or the access instructions supplied by your administrator.
Before you finish
Check the email address before saving. If the email does not arrive, check junk mail and your website’s mail configuration rather than repeatedly creating the same account.
