Creating a new page | CoreCMS guides

Create the page record first, then add its content. Current CoreCMS offers Published, Draft and Protected page states.

How to use it

  1. Open Website pages → Create new page at /cc_admin/cms/new.
  2. Enter the page title and check the menu title and permalink.
  3. Choose the appropriate template.
  4. Select Draft while preparing content; the Published option makes the page live.
  5. Select Create page, then add content in the page builder.
  6. Review the page, publish when ready and add it to the required navigation.

Before you finish

Draft is stored internally as the hidden status. Password protection and menu visibility are separate settings. Do not use a published but unlinked page to store confidential information.
