Public member accounts | CoreCMS guides
Where enabled, public member accounts give visitors access to member features. They are separate from CMS editor and administrator accounts.
How to use it
- Open the Members module if it is available to your account.
- Review member details and the status or access controls provided by the module.
- Check the website’s registration, sign-in and password-recovery journey.
- Test protected content using the intended member account.
- Sign out and confirm that restricted content is still protected.
Before you finish
Do not create a CMS administrator account for a visitor who only needs member access. Registration and access rules depend on the website’s configuration.
