Refreshing the search index and excluding pages | CoreCMS guides
The search index is refreshed automatically, with controls for excluded pages and the refresh interval. Changes made directly in the database may need an index refresh before they appear.
How to use it
- Open Site Search settings and review the index controls.
- Refresh or rebuild the index after a large content import.
- Use Pages excluded from search for published utility or confirmation pages.
- Save and test an affected query.
- Review zero-result searches in Analytics if search analytics is enabled.
Before you finish
Excluding a page from search does not make it private. Use the page’s publication or access controls for content that must not be publicly available.
