Conditional fields in forms | CoreCMS guides
Conditional logic shows or hides fields according to a visitor’s earlier answers. It can keep a longer form focused on the questions relevant to that person.
How to use it
- Add the field that determines the choice.
- Open the dependent component’s conditional settings.
- Choose the controlling field and the value that should show the component.
- Save the condition.
- Test each possible answer, including switching from one answer to another.
- Submit tests for every path through the form.
Before you finish
Check required fields inside conditional sections. Visitors should not be blocked by a hidden field that they cannot complete. Complex custom logic should be reviewed with Digitalogy.
