Synonyms and pinned search results | CoreCMS guides
Synonyms connect different wording for the same subject. Pinned results place an important destination first for a specified search phrase.
How to use it
- Open Site Search settings.
- Add a synonym group using terms visitors actually use.
- Add a pinned result for a specific phrase if a clear priority destination exists.
- Save and run the phrase through Test your search.
- Check similar queries so the adjustment does not make them less useful.
Before you finish
Use these controls selectively. If many queries need manual correction, improve page titles and content as well.
